On Monday 18th June, 10 girls from Year 6 attended a netball tournament hosted at Kings High. All 10 girls did themselves proud, playing fantasically, encourgaing each other and playing really well as a team. We played 3 matches where we drew one and won the other 2 before going into next round, where we were in the final. With great determination, the girls pulled together one final time and played magnificiently, winning the match 2-1 and therefore coming in first place in the whole tournament...such an amazing achievementt! Well done!

A special mention must go to Millie who ran 2 of the 4 laps...a fantastic achievement and great team work!

During the past six weeks, Mr Partridge has been teaching year 6 a unit of gymnastics.  The children created and performed a short routine in pairs and groups and used a variety of techniques such as: cannon, mirroring and unison.  In the final piece the children were also given the option to add a prop if they wanted.

All Saints' Cross Country Team

Our final race this year was at Priory Park, all the children have raced really well and made such improvement, with Oscar finishing 7th and Marielle 10th.  Well done everyone!

We ran our 3rd league race at Priors Field School in Kenilworth.  The ground was very muddy and slippery.   The children loved running through the ford and getting wet at the end.  It was another superb performance from the whole team.

Our 2nd League race was at Hatton Country World . The children did amazingly well in a much larger field of children.  Well done to Oscar and Marielle who achieved 18th and 15th out of 130 boys and girls.

The cross country season is underway and the All Saints' team took part in their first race

at Southam. They all ran brilliantly and should be very proud of themselves.

In the morning, they took part in 'Round Robin' which involved the children competing in obstacle races, dribbling footballs and hockey balls around cones, jumping and throwing as far as they could and generally having a great time!

The afternoon saw the more traditional sports day races with all children competing in the sprinting, egg and spoon and obstacle relay. The sun was out, making the shared picnic at lunch that much nicer, with parents enjoying time with their children out on the field.

Tag Rugby Champions

On Friday 23rd June, a team from All Saints’ attended a Tag Rugby Tournament at Leamington Rugby Club. The children competed against many schools from Warwickshire and played really well, winning their first match convincingly. As with last year, the winner was not decided upon how many matches a team had won but was more about the conduct of the players both on and off the pitch. All players were exceptionally behaved and competed to the best of their ability at all times. They were a credit to the school and it was absolutely fantastic when it was announced that we were the champions once again! It was a truly great day of sport for all involved and the children should be very proud of their achievements.
